Odoo Does Not Issue China Fapiao. So We Built That.
If you run Odoo in China, you know the gap. Odoo creates the invoice, but it does not issue the fapiao. And in China the fapiao is the document that matters: the official tax invoice the authorities and your customers require. Teams end up rekeying every invoice into a separate fapiao platform by hand. It is slow, and it is where mistakes creep in.
We closed that gap. Majorbird built a direct integration between Odoo and Baiwang, one of China's main fapiao service providers, so you can issue a compliant fapiao straight from the Odoo invoice you already created.
What It Does
- Invoice to fapiao. Turn a posted Odoo invoice into a fapiao, both General VAT (普票) and Special VAT (专票). The data comes from the invoice you already have, so there is no second entry.
- Refunds and reversals. Issue the red-letter fapiao for a refund or reversal directly, matched to the original.
- Company lookup before you issue. Check that the buyer's VAT number and company name match the official record, so a fapiao does not fail on a mismatched name or tax number.
- Fapiao tax codes on your products. Look up the Chinese fapiao tax classification codes and store them on each product and category, together with the fapiao description and fapiao tax. Set it once, and every future fapiao carries the right code.
Why It Matters
Fapiao issuance is not optional in China, and getting it wrong costs time and trust. Doing it inside Odoo means one system, one set of numbers, and no manual bridge between your ERP and your tax invoices. Your accounting stays clean, and your team stops copying data between screens.
